“Navaratri is a time to connect with the divine feminine energy within us and around us.”
Navaratri, the nine nights of the goddess, is a significant festival celebrated by Hindus worldwide. It is a time of devotion, prayer, and celebration of the divine feminine in all its forms. The nine forms of Durga represent strength, growth and destruction of evil, happiness, peace, vigour, health, propriety and wisdom.
We, at Amrita Vidyalayam, Ottapalam were at the pinnacle of happiness on the day of the Navaratri celebration on October 10th. The artistic display of dolls- “Bommai Kolu”, added to the beauty and divine nature of the celebration.
