EVERY DROP COUNTS – DONATE BLOOD TODAY

Amrita Vidyalayam Ottapalam celebrated World Blood Donor Day on Friday, June 14th. The school hosted informative sessions to highlight the significance of blood donation, with enthusiastic participation from the students. Athmaja, a grade 3 student, recited a beautiful Malayalam poem on blood donation, while Lakshmi, also from grade 3, narrated a moral story emphasizing its importance. Lakshmi Raghunath of grade 8 delivered a powerful speech on the day’s significance. Additionally, students created meaningful posters and drawings depicting blood donation as a life-saving gift, which were displayed during the assembly. The event aimed to instil a positive attitude about the impact of blood donation and encourage students. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
